New Possibilities for Industry-Academia Collaboration Through Low-Energy Synchrotron Radiation

The Research Institute for Synchrotron Radiation Science at Hiroshima University promotes research utilizing low-energy synchrotron radiation, ranging from the ultraviolet to the soft X-ray regions. Since facilities specializing in the ultraviolet region are rare worldwide, HiSOR offers a unique environment for cutting-edge research. By establishing a joint research agreement between industry partners (companies, organizations, etc.) and Hiroshima University, it is possible to conduct collaborative research using the advanced analytical equipment installed at HiSOR. Additionally, for open-access (publicly disclosed) results, we also offer a free-of-charge trial use program.
