The Research Institute for Synchrotron Radiation Research (HiSOR) is a research facility established within a national university for the advancement of science and technology, also to nurture and develop future talent. Built on a strong record of scientific achievement, it was founded in 1986 as a distinctive research center known for its ability to manage the full research system and for its flexibility in both education and research. Along with carrying out leading research and training specialists, the institute is strongly committed to outreach activities that connect with the local community, teachers, students, and parents.
